중지해야 할 기획연출에 응용된 성경구절이면,,,

 

 

아래의 성경(The Bible) 구절들이 성경(The Bible)의 사실로 믿는 사람 또는 하늘의 신(Spirit)이 존재하고 있는 것을 사실로 믿는 사람이나 특히 하늘의 신(Spirit)과 교통하고 동행하며 신(Spirit)의 세계가 존재하고 있는 것과 그 정체성을 증거할 것이라고 말을 한 사람 중 정치인으로서의 정치활동을 말을 하고 종교인으로서의 종교활동을 말을 한 사람을 상대로 가족관계나 인간관계나 인생과 길흉화복을 기획연출하는 것에 응용된 것이면 성경(The Bible)을 왜곡하는 것이고 범죄에 해당하니 중지해야 할 것이고 특히 목사에게의 불순종이나 부모에게의 불효 등을 핑계로 신명기 33장 11절, 신명기 21장 18~23절, 신명기 27장 11~26, 신명기 28장 15~68절을 기획연출하는 것도 성경(The Bible)을 왜곡하는 것이고 범죄에 해당하니 중지해야 할 것입니다.

 

1977년도부터 약 30년의 시간은 신(Spirit)의 세계에 의해서 그 능력으로 예정된 시기였고 제가 신(Spirit)의 세계의 사명을 회피 행위가 아닙니다. 1965년도의 저의 출생과 더불어 신(Spirit)의 세계로부터 그 능력이 발생하면 사람들이 그것을 신(Spirit)의 세계로부터의 교통으로 이해하는데 문제는 그 때 그 때마다 신(Spirit)의 세계의 정체성이 사람마다의 종교 및 지식으로 왜곡되니 21세기 과학기술문명의 시대 및 여러 종류의 종교가 있고 종교에 대한 지식이 잘못된 시대에서 신(Spirit)의 세계에서 세상물정을 모르는 어린 아이의 성정과 더불어 신(Spirit)의 세계 및 성경(The Bible)의 기적과 기록과정 등등에 대해서 증거하기 위한 것이 그렇게 나타난 것이고 오늘날만의 사명도 포함되어 있는 아주 중요한 의미가 있는 시간입니다. 1977년도부터 약 30년동안의 정희득의 행위가 신(Spirit)의 세계의 실존과 정체성 및 그것에 연관된 종교만 정확하게 알고 보통 사람의 행위와 대동소이했을지라도 모세의 십계명의 말씀에 어긋난 것도 아니고 또한 예수님의 말씀에 어긋난 것도 아니고 교조주의적 기독교적인 신앙을 말하는 몇몇 사람들의 시각에 맞지 않는 것이 약간 있었을 것이고 그러나 지구상에서 다른 사람들과 더불어 살아야 하고 다른 사람들에게 신(Spirit)의 세계를 증거해야 할 사람으로서 술을 마신 것이나 담배를 피운 것 및 술에 취한 것 자체가 모세의 십계명의 말씀에 어긋난 것도 아니고 또한 예수님의 말씀에 어긋난 것도 아니니 꼭 명심할 일입니다.

 

지금의 모습은 술과 담배를 끊은 지 15년이 넘었고 그 중간인 2003년 중반부터 약 1년 6 개월 정도의 매일 같은 등산이 있었고 그래도 지금 현재 담배를 피울 때 담배를 끊으면 나타나는 금단증상이라고 하는 것이 가끔 발생하는 것은 그 원인이 다른 것에 있을 것이고 제가 오래 전 다녔던 회사에서 물을 마시거나 출석하는 교회에서 커피를 마시거나 국립중앙도서관에서 커피를 마시고 난 후 가끔 발생하게 되는 것으로서 가슴 부위에 엄청난 쪼임과 통증이 발생하고 깨스가 발생하게 되는 것과 유사할 것이고 앞에서 말을 한 가슴 부위에 엄청난 쪼임과 통증이 발생하고 깨스가 발생하게 되는 것은 커피나 물과도 무관하고 심장질환과도 무관하고 과식을 한 것과도 무관하고 검증이란 말로서 약초나 생화학 약품을 사용한 것이고 가끔 신문에 보도되는 과로사의 원인을 알려 준다고 약초나 생화학 약품을 사용한 것으로 추측될 수 있을 것입니다.

 

2005~2015년 사이가 1965년도의 저의 출생과 더불어 대한민국에 나타난 신(Spirit)의 세계에 의해서 약 30~40년의 독학과 같은 시간을 거쳐서 신(Spirit)의 세계의 실존과 정체성 등이 증거 되는 아주 중요한 시기이니 그 사실을 만방에 알리기 위해서 여러가지 기획연출을 한 것은 감사할 일인데 그 댓가로 사건사고를 유발하는 것은 돕는 것이 아니고 사건사고를 유발하기 위한 계략이 될 수도 있으니 참고할 일이고 천벌이 없다고 정당화 되는 것은 아닙니다.

 

천벌에 대해서 예를 들어서 말을 할 때 신(Spirit)의 세계와의 교통과 동행에 의한 선지자 같은 사명을 행하는 사람이 그것에 대해서 증거를 하는 글을 작성해야 하니 컴퓨터로 글을 작성하게 될 때 하늘의 신(Spirit)이 그 사람과의 교통으로 신(Spirit)의 능력과 현상에 대한 기억을 돕는 활동을 하고 있고 누군가가 그것을 방해하기 위해서 원격, 무선, 바이러스 등으로 컴퓨터에 에러를 일으키고 있어도 하늘의 신(Spirit)이 컴퓨터의 에러를 치료하거나 막거나 그 사람을 상대로 천벌을 내리는 것과 같은 일을 하지 않는다는 것입니다. 성경(The Bible)을 잘못 이해하면 하늘의 신(Spirit)이 사람이 도와서 컴퓨터로 하늘의 신(Spirit)에 대한 관을 작성하고 있으니 누군가가 컴퓨터와 인터넷으로 그것을 방해하는 일을 하면 그것이 전지전능한 신(Spirit)의 능력으로 해결이 되고 천벌도 내릴 것 같은데 성경(The Bible)을 자세히 읽어 보면 꼭 그렇지 않고 특히 하늘의 신(Spirit)의 세계에 대해서 3,500년전부터 구약성경이 기록되고 2천년 전에 신약성경이 기록되고 1,400년 전에 코란이 기록되고 난 후에는 더욱 더 그러하니 천벌을 검증하는 검증 행위는 거짓증거, 위증, 사기 행위에 이용당하고 쉬울 것입니다.

 

제사장이 예수를 죽여도 천벌이 없는 것이 제사장의 행위를 정당화 하는 것이 아니고 예수의 행위를 거짓으로 말하는 것도 아니고 모세의 율법에 근거하여 그 사명을 행하는 제사장의 행위는 제사장의 행위로서 그 사후에 하늘의 신(Spirit)의 세계로부터 천벌을 받게 되는 것이 천지창조의 섭리이고 선지자나 제사장조차도 천벌을 받을 수 있는 것은 성경(The Bible)에 기록되어 있고 예수의 행위는 예수의 살해된 육체가 하늘의 신(Spirit)의 세계의 능력으로 살리어져서 여러 제자들에게 나타나서 살아 생전의 그 말을 증거하고 또 하늘로 승천되어져 사라진 것으로서 증명되어진 것입니다.

 

 

 

마태복음 12장 46~50절,

 

예수께서 무리에게 말씀하실 때에 그 모친과 동생들이 예수께 말하려고 밖에 섰더니

한 사람이 예수께 여짜오되 보소서 당신의 모친과 동생들이 당신께 말하려고 밖에 섰나이다 하니

말하던 사람에게 대답하여 가라사대 누가 내 모친이며 내 동생들이냐 하시고

손을 내밀어 제자들을 가리켜 가라사대 나의 모친과 나의 동생들을 보라

누구든지 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 뜻대로 하는 자가 내 형제요 자매요 모친이니라 하시더라

 

While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him.

Someone told him, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you."

He replied to him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?"

Pointing to his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers.

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

 

 

신명기 33장 8~11절

 

레위에 대하여는 일렀으되 주의 둠밈과 우림이 주의 경건한 자에게 있도다 주께서 그를 맛사에서 시험하시고 므리바 물 가에서 그와 다투셨도다

그는 그 부모에게 대하여 이르기를 내가 그들을 보지 못하였다 하며 그 형제들을 인정치 아니하며 그 자녀를 알지 아니한 것은 주의 말씀을 준행하고 주의 언약을 지킴을 인함이로다

주의 법도를 야곱에게, 주의 율법을 이스라엘에게 가르치며 주 앞에 분향하고 온전한 번제를 주의 단 위에 드리리로다

여호와여 그 재산을 풍족케 하시고 그 손의 일을 받으소서 그를 대적하여 일어나는 자와 미워하는 자의 허리를 꺾으사 다시 일어나지 못하게 하옵소서

 

About Levi he said: "Your Thummim and Urim belong to the man you favored. You tested him at Massah; you contended with him at the waters of Meribah.

He said of his father and mother, 'I have no regard for them.' He did not recognize his brothers or acknowledge his own children, but he watched over your word and guarded your covenant.

He teaches your precepts to Jacob and your law to Israel. He offers incense before you and whole burnt offerings on your altar.

Bless all his skills, O LORD, and be pleased with the work of his hands. Smite the loins of those who rise up against him; strike his foes till they rise no more." 

 

 

마태복음 13장 53~59절

 

예수께서 이 모든 비유를 마치신 후에 거기를 떠나서

고향으로 돌아가사 저희 회당에서 가르치시니 저희가 놀라 가로되 이 사람의 이 지혜와 이런 능력이 어디서 났느뇨

이는 그 목수의 아들이 아니냐 그 모친은 마리아, 그 형제들은 야고보, 요셉, 시몬, 유다라 하지 않느냐

그 누이들은 다 우리와 함께 있지 아니하냐 그런즉 이 사람의 이 모든 것이 어디서 났느뇨 하고

예수를 배척한지라 예수께서 저희에게 말씀하시되 선지자가 자기 고향과 자기 집 외에서는 존경을 받지 않음이 없느니라 하시고

저희의 믿지 않음을 인하여 거기서 많은 능력을 행치 아니하시니라

When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there.

Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. "Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?" they asked.

"Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?

Aren't all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?"

And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honor."

And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

 

 

신명기 21장 18~23절

 

사람에게 완악하고 패역한 아들이 있어 그 아비의 말이나 그 어미의 말을 순종치 아니하고 부모가 징책하여도 듣지 아니하거든

그 부모가 그를 잡아가지고 성문에 이르러 그 성읍 장로들에게 나아가서

그 성읍 장로들에게 말하기를 우리의 이 자식은 완악하고 패역하여 우리 말을 순종치 아니하고 방탕하며 술에 잠긴 자라 하거든

그 성읍의 모든 사람들이 그를 돌로 쳐 죽일찌니 이같이 네가 너의 중에 악을 제하라 그리하면 온 이스라엘이 듣고 두려워하리라

사람이 만일 죽을 죄를 범하므로 네가 그를 죽여 나무 위에 달거든

그 시체를 나무 위에 밤새도록 두지 말고 당일에 장사하여 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 기업으로 주시는 땅을 더럽히지 말라 나무에 달린 자는 하나님께 저주를 받았음이니라

If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him,

his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town.

They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard."

Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.

If a man guilty of a capital offense is put to death and his body is hung on a tree,

you must not leave his body on the tree overnight. Be sure to bury him that same day, because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God's curse. You must not desecrate the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.

 

 

신명기 27장 11~26절

 

모세가 당일에 백성에게 명하여 가로되

너희가 요단을 건넌 후에 시므온과 레위와 유다와 잇사갈과 요셉과 베냐민은 백성을 축복하기 위하여 그리심산에 서고

르우벤과 갓과 아셀과 스불론과 단과 납달리는 저주하기 위하여 에발산에 서고

레위 사람은 큰 소리로 이스라엘 모든 사람에게 말하여 이르기를

장색의 손으로 조각하였거나 부어 만든 우상은 여호와께 가증하니 그것을 만들어 은밀히 세우는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 응답하여 아멘 할찌니라

그 부모를 경홀히 여기는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

그 이웃의 지계표를 옮기는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

소경으로 길을 잃게 하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

객이나 고아나 과부의 송사를 억울케 하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

계모와 구합하는 자는 그 아비의 하체를 드러내었으니 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

무릇 짐승과 교합하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

그 자매 곧 그 아비의 딸이나 어미의 딸과 구합하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

장모와 구합하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

그 이웃을 암살하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

무죄자를 죽이려고 뇌물을 받는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

이 율법의 모든 말씀을 실행치 아니하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

On the same day Moses commanded the people:

When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph and Benjamin.

And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to pronounce curses: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan and Naphtali.

The Levites shall recite to all the people of Israel in a loud voice:

"Cursed is the man who carves an image or casts an idol--a thing detestable to the LORD, the work of the craftsman's hands--and sets it up in secret." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

신명기 28장 15~68절,

 

네가 만일 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 순종하지 아니하여 내가 오늘날 네게 명하는 그 모든 명령과 규례를 지켜 행하지 아니하면 이 모든 저주가 네게 임하고 네게 미칠 것이니

네가 성읍에서도 저주를 받으며 들에서도 저주를 받을 것이요

또 네 광주리와 떡반죽 그릇이 저주를 받을 것이요

네 몸의 소생과 네 토지의 소산과 네 우양의 새끼가 저주를 받을 것이며

네가 들어와도 저주를 받고 나가도 저주를 받으리라

네가 악을 행하여 그를 잊으므로 네 손으로 하는 모든 일에 여호와께서 저주와 공구와 견책을 내리사 망하며 속히 파멸케 하실 것이며

여호와께서 네 몸에 염병이 들게 하사 네가 들어가 얻을 땅에서 필경 너를 멸하실 것이며

여호와께서 폐병과 열병과 상한과 학질과 한재와 풍재와 썩는 재앙으로 너를 치시리니 이 재앙들이 너를 따라서 너를 진멸케 할 것이라

네 머리 위의 하늘은 놋이 되고 네 아래의 땅은 철이 될 것이며

여호와께서 비 대신에 티끌과 모래를 네 땅에 내리시리니 그것들이 하늘에서 네 위에 내려서 필경 너를 멸하리라

여호와께서 너로 네 대적 앞에 패하게 하시리니 네가 한 길로 그들을 치러 나가서는 그들의 앞에서 일곱 길로 도망할 것이며 네가 또 세계 만국 중에 흩음을 당하고

네 시체가 공중의 모든 새와 땅 짐승들의 밥이 될 것이나 그것들을 쫓아 줄 자가 없을 것이며

여호와께서 애굽의 종기와 치질과 괴혈병과 개창으로 너를 치시리니 네가 치료함을 얻지 못할 것이며

여호와께서 또 너를 미침과 눈멂과 경심증으로 치시리니

소경이 어두운데서 더듬는 것과 같이 네가 백주에도 더듬고 네 길이 형통치 못하여 항상 압제와 노략을 당할 뿐이니 너를 구원할 자가 없을 것이며

네가 여자와 약혼하였으나 다른 사람이 그와 같이 잘 것이요 집을 건축하였으나 거기 거하지 못할 것이요 포도원을 심었으나 네가 그 과실을 쓰지 못할 것이며

네 소를 네 목전에서 잡았으나 네가 먹지 못할 것이며 네 나귀를 네 목전에서 빼앗아감을 당하여도 도로 찾지 못할 것이며 네 양을 대적에게 빼앗길 것이나 너를 도와 줄 자가 없을 것이며

네 자녀를 다른 민족에게 빼앗기고 종일 생각하고 알아봄으로 눈이 쇠하여지나 네 손에 능이 없을 것이며

네 토지 소산과 네 수고로 얻은 것을 네가 알지 못하는 민족이 먹겠고 너는 항상 압제와 학대를 받을 뿐이리니

이러므로 네 눈에 보이는 일로 인하여 네가 미치리라

여호와께서 네 무릎과 다리를 쳐서 고치지 못할 심한 종기로 발하게 하여 발바닥으로 정수리까지 이르게 하시리라

여호와께서 너와 네가 세울 네 임금을 너와 네 열조가 알지 못하던 나라로 끌어가시리니 네가 거기서 목석으로 만든 다른 신들을 섬길 것이며

여호와께서 너를 끌어 가시는 모든 민족 중에서 네가 놀램과 속담과 비방거리가 될 것이라

네가 많은 종자를 들에 심을지라도 메뚜기가 먹으므로 거둘 것이 적을 것이며

네가 포도원을 심고 다스릴지라도 벌레가 먹으므로 포도를 따지 못하고 포도주를 마시지 못할 것이며

네 모든 경내에 감람나무가 있을지라도 그 열매가 떨어지므로 그 기름을 네 몸에 바르지 못할 것이며

네가 자녀를 낳을지라도 그들이 포로가 되므로 네게 있지 못할 것이며

네 모든 나무와 토지 소산은 메뚜기가 먹을 것이며

너의 중에 우거하는 이방인은 점점 높아져서 네 위에 뛰어나고 너는 점점 낮아질 것이며

그는 네게 꾸일지라도 너는 그에게 뀌지 못하리니 그는 머리가 되고 너는 꼬리가 될 것이라

네가 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 순종치 아니하고 네게 명하신 그 명령과 규례를 지키지 아니하므로 이 모든 저주가 네게 임하고 너를 따르고 네게 미쳐서 필경 너를 멸하리니

이 모든 저주가 너와 네 자손에게 영원히 있어서 표적과 감계가 되리라

네가 모든 것이 풍족하여도 기쁨과 즐거운 마음으로 네 하나님 여호와를 섬기지 아니함을 인하여

네가 주리고 목마르고 헐벗고 모든 것이 핍절한 중에서 여호와께서 보내사 너를 치게 하실 대적을 섬기게 될 것이니 그가 철 멍에를 네 목에 메워서 필경 너를 멸할 것이라

곧 여호와께서 원방에서, 땅끝에서 한 민족을 독수리의 날음 같이 너를 치러 오게 하시리니 이는 네가 그 언어를 알지 못하는 민족이요

그 용모가 흉악한 민족이라 노인을 돌아보지 아니하며 유치를 긍휼히 여기지 아니하며

네 육축의 새끼와 네 토지의 소산을 먹어서 필경은 너를 멸망시키며 또 곡식이나 포도주나 기름이나 소의 새끼나 양의 새끼를 너를 위하여 남기지 아니하고 필경은 너를 멸절시키리라

그들이 전국에서 네 모든 성읍을 에워싸고 네가 의뢰하는바 높고 견고한 성벽을 다 헐며 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅의 모든 성읍에서 너를 에워싸리니

네가 대적에게 에워싸이고 맹렬히 쳐서 곤란케 함을 당하므로 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주신 자녀 곧 네 몸의 소생의 고기를 먹을 것이라

너희 중에 유순하고 연약한 남자라도 그 형제와 그 품의 아내와 그 남은 자녀를 질시하여

자기의 먹는 그 자녀의 고기를 그 중 누구에게든지 주지 아니하리니 이는 네 대적이 네 모든 성읍을 에워싸고 맹렬히 너를 쳐서 곤란케 하므로 아무것도 그에게 남음이 없는 연고일 것이며

또 너희 중에 유순하고 연약한 부녀 곧 유순하고 연약하여 그 발바닥으로 땅을 밟아 보지도 아니하던 자라도 그 품의 남편과 그 자녀를 질시하여

그 다리 사이에서 나온 태와 자기의 낳은 어린 자식을 가만히 먹으리니 이는 네 대적이 네 생명을 에워싸고 맹렬히 쳐서 곤란케 하므로 아무것도 얻지 못함이리라

네가 만일 이 책에 기록한 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 지켜 행하지 아니하고 네 하나님 여호와라 하는 영화롭고 두려운 이름을 경외하지 아니하면

여호와께서 너의 재앙과 네 자손의 재앙을 극렬하게 하시리니 그 재앙이 크고 오래고 그 질병이 중하고 오랠 것이라

여호와께서 네가 두려워하던 애굽의 모든 질병을 네게로 가져다가 네 몸에 들어붓게 하실 것이며

또 이 율법책에 기록지 아니한 모든 질병과 모든 재앙을 너의 멸망하기까지 여호와께서 네게 내리실 것이니

너희가 하늘의 별 같이 많았을지라도 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 순종치 아니하므로 남는 자가 얼마되지 못할 것이라

이왕에 여호와께서 너희에게 선을 행하시고 너희로 번성케 하시기를 기뻐하시던 것 같이 이제는 여호와께서 너희를 망하게 하시며 멸하시기를 기뻐하시리니 너희가 들어가 얻는 땅에서 뽑힐 것이요

여호와께서 너를 땅 이 끝에서 저 끝까지 만민 중에 흩으시리니 네가 그곳에서 너와 네 열조의 알지 못하던 목석 우상을 섬길 것이라

그 열국 중에서 네가 평안함을 얻지 못하며 네 발바닥을 쉴 곳도 얻지 못하고 오직 여호와께서 거기서 너의 마음으로 떨고 눈으로 쇠하고 정신으로 산란케 하시리니

네 생명이 의심나는 곳에 달린 것 같아서 주야로 두려워하며 네 생명을 확신할 수 없을 것이라

네 마음의 두려움과 눈의 보는 것으로 인하여 아침에는 이르기를 아하 저녁이 되었으면 좋겠다 할 것이요 저녁에는 이르기를 아하 아침이 되었으면 좋겠다 하리라

여호와께서 너를 배에 실으시고 전에 네게 고하여 이르시기를 네가 다시는 그 길을 보지 아니하리라 하시던 그 길로 너를 애굽으로 끌어가실 것이라 거기서 너희가 너희 몸을 대적에게 노비로 팔려하나 너희를 살 자가 없으리라

However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.

Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed.

The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.

The LORD will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him.

The LORD will plague you with diseases until he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess.

The LORD will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish.

The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron.

The LORD will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the skies until you are destroyed.

The LORD will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth.

Your carcasses will be food for all the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away.

The LORD will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, festering sores and the itch, from which you cannot be cured.

The LORD will afflict you with madness, blindness and confusion of mind.

At midday you will grope about like a blind man in the dark. You will be unsuccessful in everything you do; day after day you will be oppressed and robbed, with no one to rescue you.

You will be pledged to be married to a woman, but another will take her and ravish her. You will build a house, but you will not live in it. You will plant a vineyard, but you will not even begin to enjoy its fruit.

Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will eat none of it. Your donkey will be forcibly taken from you and will not be returned. Your sheep will be given to your enemies, and no one will rescue them.

Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, and you will wear out your eyes watching for them day after day, powerless to lift a hand.

A people that you do not know will eat what your land and labor produce, and you will have nothing but cruel oppression all your days.

The sights you see will drive you mad.

The LORD will afflict your knees and legs with painful boils that cannot be cured, spreading from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.

The LORD will drive you and the king you set over you to a nation unknown to you or your fathers. There you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone.

You will become a thing of horror and an object of scorn and ridicule to all the nations where the LORD will drive you.

You will sow much seed in the field but you will harvest little, because locusts will devour it.

You will plant vineyards and cultivate them but you will not drink the wine or gather the grapes, because worms will eat them.

You will have olive trees throughout your country but you will not use the oil, because the olives will drop off.

You will have sons and daughters but you will not keep them, because they will go into captivity.

Swarms of locusts will take over all your trees and the crops of your land.

The alien who lives among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower.

He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him. He will be the head, but you will be the tail.

All these curses will come upon you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the LORD your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you.

They will be a sign and a wonder to you and your descendants forever.

Because you did not serve the LORD your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity,

therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the LORD sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.

The LORD will bring a nation against you from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle swooping down, a nation whose language you will not understand,

a fierce-looking nation without respect for the old or pity for the young.

They will devour the young of your livestock and the crops of your land until you are destroyed. They will leave you no grain, new wine or oil, nor any calves of your herds or lambs of your flocks until you are ruined.

They will lay siege to all the cities throughout your land until the high fortified walls in which you trust fall down. They will besiege all the cities throughout the land the LORD your God is giving you.

Because of the suffering that your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the LORD your God has given you.

Even the most gentle and sensitive man among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children,

and he will not give to one of them any of the flesh of his children that he is eating. It will be all he has left because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege of all your cities.

The most gentle and sensitive woman among you--so sensitive and gentle that she would not venture to touch the ground with the sole of her foot--will begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter

the afterbirth from her womb and the children she bears. For she intends to eat them secretly during the siege and in the distress that your enemy will inflict on you in your cities.

If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name--the LORD your God-

the LORD will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses.

He will bring upon you all the diseases of Egypt that you dreaded, and they will cling to you.

The LORD will also bring on you every kind of sickness and disaster not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed.

You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky will be left but few in number, because you did not obey the LORD your God.

Just as it pleased the LORD to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please him to ruin and destroy you. You will be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess.

Then the LORD will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods--gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known.

Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the LORD will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart.

You will live in constant suspense, filled with dread both night and day, never sure of your life.

In the morning you will say, "If only it were evening!" and in the evening, "If only it were morning!"-because of the terror that will fill your hearts and the sights that your eyes will see.

The LORD will send you back in ships to Egypt on a journey I said you should never make again. There you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.
