마가복음 10장 45절

 

43    너희 중에는 그렇지 아니하니 너희 중에 누구든지 크고자 하는 자는 너희를 섬기는 자가 되고
44    너희 중에 누구든지 으뜸이 되고자 하는 자는 모든 사람의 종이 되어야 하리라
45    인자의 온 것은 섬김을 받으려 함이 아니라 도리어 섬기려 하고 자기 목숨을 많은 사람의 대속물로 주려 함이니라

43    But don't act like them. If you want to be great, you must be the servant of all the others.
44    And if you want to be first, you must be everyone's slave.
45    The Son of Man did not come to be a slave master, but a slave who will give his life to rescue r) many people.

rescue: The Greek word often, though not always, means the payment of a price to free a slave or a prisoner.

 

 

로마서 5장 12 - 21절

 

아담과 그리스도

12    이러므로 한 사람으로 말미암아 죄가 세상에 들어오고 죄로 말미암아 사망이 왔나니 이와 같이 모든 사람이 죄를 지었으므로 사망이 모든 사람에게 이르렀느니라
13    죄가 율법 있기 전에도 세상에 있었으나 율법이 없을 때에는 죄를 죄로 여기지 아니하느니라
14    그러나 아담으로부터 모세까지 아담의 범죄와 같은 죄를 짓지 아니한 자들 위에도 사망이 왕노릇하였나니 아담은 오실 자의 표상이라
15    그러나 이 은사는 그 범죄와 같지 아니하니 곧 한 사람의 범죄를 인하여 많은 사람이 죽었은즉 더욱 하나님의 은혜와 또는 한 사람 예수 그리스도의 은혜로 말미암은 선물이 많은 사람에게 넘쳤으리라
16    또 이 선물은 범죄한 한 사람으로 말미암은 것과 같지 아니하니 심판은 한 사람을 인하여 정죄에 이르렀으나 은사는 많은 범죄를 인하여 의롭다 하심에 이름이니라
17    한 사람의 범죄를 인하여 사망이 그 한 사람으로 말미암아 왕노릇 하였은즉 더욱 은혜와 의의 선물을 넘치게 받는 자들이 한 분 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 생명 안에서 왕노릇 하리로다
18    그런즉 한 범죄로 많은 사람이 정죄에 이른것 같이 의의 한 행동으로 말미암아 많은 사람이 의롭다 하심을 받아 생명에 이르렀느니라
19    한 사람의 순종치 아니함으로 많은 사람이 죄인 된것 같이 한 사람의 순종하심으로 많은 사람이 의인이 되리라
20    율법이 가입한 것은 범죄를 더하게 하려 함이라 그러나 죄가 더한 곳에 은혜가 더욱 넘쳤나니
21    이는 죄가 사망 안에서 왕노릇 한 것 같이 은혜도 또한 의로 말미암아 왕노릇 하여 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 영생에 이르게 하려 함이니라

Chapter 5 What It Means To Be Acceptable to God 1    By faith we have been made acceptable to God. And now, because of our Lord Jesus Christ, we live at peace i) with God. we live at peace: Some manuscripts have "let us live at peace." 2    Christ has also introduced us j) to God's undeserved kindness on which we take our stand. So we are happy, as we look forward to sharing in the glory of God. introduced us: Some manuscripts add "by faith." 3    But that's not all! We gladly suffer, k) because we know that suffering helps us to endure. We gladly suffer: Or "Let us gladly suffer." 4    And endurance builds character, which gives us a hope 5    that will never disappoint us. All of this happens because God has given us the Holy Spirit, who fills our hearts with his love. 6    Christ died for us at a time when we were helpless and sinful. 7    No one is really willing to die for an honest person, though someone might be willing to die for a truly good person. 8    But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful. 9    But there is more! Now that God has accepted us because Christ sacrificed his life's blood, we will also be kept safe from God's anger. 10    Even when we were God's enemies, he made peace with us, because his Son died for us. Yet something even greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, we will be saved by his Son's life. 11    And in addition to everything else, we are happy because God sent our Lord Jesus Christ to make peace with us. Adam and Christ 12    Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die. 13    Sin was in the world before the Law came. But no record of sin was kept, because there was no Law. 14    Yet death still had power over all who lived from the time of Adam to the time of Moses. This happened, though not everyone disobeyed a direct command from God, as Adam did. In some ways Adam is like Christ who came later. 15    But the gift that God was kind enough to give was very different from Adam's sin. That one sin brought death to many others. Yet in an even greater way, Jesus Christ alone brought God's gift of kindness to many people. 16    There is a lot of difference between Adam's sin and God's gift. That one sin led to punishment. But God's gift made it possible for us to be acceptable to him, even though we have sinned many times. 17    Death ruled like a king because Adam had sinned. But that cannot compare with what Jesus Christ has done. God has been so kind to us, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like kings. 18    Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life. 19    Adam disobeyed God and caused many others to be sinners. But Jesus obeyed him and will make many people acceptable to God. 20    The Law came, so that the full power of sin could be seen. Yet where sin was powerful, God's kindness was even more powerful. 21    Sin ruled by means of death. But God's kindness now rules, and God has accepted us because of Jesus Christ our Lord. This means that we will have eternal life.

 

 

 

고린도전서 15장 12-34절,

 

죽은 사람의 부활

12    그리스도께서 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살아나셨다 전파되었거늘 너희 중에서 어떤이들은 어찌하여 죽은 자 가운데서 부활이 없다 하느냐
13    만일 죽은 자의 부활이 없으면 그리스도도 다시 살지 못하셨으리라
14    그리스도께서 만일 다시 살지 못하셨으면 우리의 전파하는 것도 헛것이요 또 너희 믿음도 헛것이며
15    또 우리가 하나님의 거짓 증인으로 발견되리니 우리가 하나님이 그리스도를 다시 살리셨다고 증거하였음이라 만일 죽은 자가 다시 사는 것이 없으면 하나님이 그리스도를 다시 살리시지 아니하셨으리라
16    만일 죽은 자가 다시 사는 것이 없으면 그리스도도 다시 사신 것이 없었을 터이요
17    그리스도께서 다시 사신 것이 없으면 너희의 믿음도 헛되고 너희가 여전히 죄 가운데 있을 것이요
18    또한 그리스도 안에서 잠자는 자도 망하였으리니
19    만일 그리스도 안에서 우리의 바라는 것이 다만 이생 뿐이면 모든 사람 가운데 우리가 더욱 불쌍한 자리라
20    그러나 이제 그리스도께서 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살아 잠자는 자들의 첫 열매가 되셨도다
21    사망이 사람으로 말미암았으니 죽은 자의 부활도 사람으로 말미암는도다
22    아담 안에서 모든 사람이 죽은것 같이 그리스도 안에서 모든 사람이 삶을 얻으리라
23    그러나 각각 자기 차례대로 되리니 먼저는 첫 열매인 그리스도요 다음에는 그리스도 강림하실 때에 그에게 붙은 자요
24    그 후에는 나중이니 저가 모든 정사와 모든 권세와 능력을 멸하시고 나라를 아버지 하나님께 바칠 때라
25    저가 모든 원수를 그 발아래 둘 때까지 불가불 왕노릇 하시리니
26    맨 나중에 멸망 받을 원수는 사망이니라
27    ㄱ)만물을 저의 발아래 두셨다 하셨으니 만물을 아래 둔다 말씀하실 때에 만물을 저의 아래 두신 이가 그 중에 들지 아니한 것이 분명하도다

시 8:6

28    만물을 저에게 복종하게 하신 때에는 1)아들 자신도 그 때에 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하신 이에게 복종케 되리니 이는 하나님이 만유의 주로서 만유 안에 계시려 하심이라

혹 아들도 그 때에 스스로 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하신 이에게 복종하리라

29    만일 죽은 자들이 도무지 다시 살지 못하면 죽은 자들을 위하여 세례 받는 자들이 무엇을 하겠느냐 어찌하여 저희를 위하여 세례를 받느뇨
30    또 어찌하여 우리가 때마다 위험을 무릅쓰리요
31    형제들아 내가 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에서 가진바 너희에게 대한 나의 자랑을 두고 단언하노니 나는 날마다 죽노라
32    내가 범인처럼 에베소에서 맹수로 더불어 싸웠으면 내게 무슨 유익이 있느뇨 죽은 자가 다시 살지 못할 것이면 내일 죽을터이니 먹고 마시자 하리라
33    속지 말라 악한 동무들은 선한 행실을 더럽히나니
34    깨어 의를 행하고 죄를 짓지 말라 하나님을 알지 못하는 자가 있기로 내가 너희를 부끄럽게 하기 위하여 말하노라
God's People Will Be Raised to Life

12    If we preach that Christ was raised from death, how can some of you say that the dead will not be raised to life?
13    If they won't be raised to life, Christ himself wasn't raised to life.
14    And if Christ wasn't raised to life, our message is worthless, and so is your faith.
15    If the dead won't be raised to life, we have told lies about God by saying that he raised Christ to life, when he really did not.
16    So if the dead won't be raised to life, Christ wasn't raised to life.
17    Unless Christ was raised to life, your faith is useless, and you are still living in your sins.
18    And those people who died after putting their faith in him are completely lost.
19    If our hope in Christ is good only for this life, we are worse off than anyone else.
20    But Christ has been raised to life! And he makes us certain that others will also be raised to life.
21    Just as we will die because of Adam, we will be raised to life because of Christ.
22    Adam brought death to all of us, and Christ will bring life to all of us.
23    But we must each wait our turn. Christ was the first to be raised to life, and his people will be raised to life when he returns.
24    Then after Christ has destroyed all powers and forces, the end will come, and he will give the kingdom to God the Father.
25    Christ will rule until he puts all his enemies under his power,
26    and the last enemy he destroys will be death.
27    When the Scriptures say that he will put everything under his power, they don't include God. It was God who put everything under the power of Christ.
28    After everything is under the power of God's Son, he will put himself under the power of God, who put everything under his Son's power. Then God will mean everything to everyone.
29    If the dead are not going to be raised to life, what will people do who are being baptized for them? Why are they being baptized for those dead people?
30    And why do we always risk our lives
31    and face death every day? The pride that I have in you because of Christ Jesus our Lord is what makes me say this.
32    What do you think I gained by fighting wild animals in Ephesus? If the dead are not raised to life, "Let's eat and drink. Tomorrow we die."
33    Don't fool yourselves. Bad friends will destroy you.
34    Be sensible and stop sinning. You should be embarrassed that some people still don't know about God.
